Region 7 STAR Student and STAR Teacher Awards Luncheon (March 10, 2026)
CSRA RESA hosted the 2026 Region 7 STAR Student and STAR Teacher Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, March 10, at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. 16 System Winners competed for the Regional Winner. Three STAR Students from Columbia County's Lakeside High School tied to win the title of Region 7 PAGE STAR Student along with their STAR Teachers. Each Regional STAR Student and STAR Teacher was awarded a certificate and a check for $500 from the PAGE Foundation. These students will go on to represent our region in the State competition in April. It was a beautiful celebration, STAR Students shared their future plans and why they had selected their STAR Teacher. STAR Teachers then shared a little about the student who selected them. The celebration was attended by members of each STAR Student's family, along with School and District Representatives.
